  • 1 fish, 450 gram (any firm white fish, cut into pieces)
  •  kappa cup (peeled and cut into small cubes)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • One tomato (chopped)
  • 2 green peppers (slit)
  • Ginger-garlic paste, one teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1-tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried coriander
  • Grated coconut, 1/2 cup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • two dried red peppers
  • 1 curry leaf sprig
  • Salt as desired
  • A cooking oil

Instructions for making Kappa Meen Curry Recipe

  • Heat oil in a pan before adding mustard seeds. 
  • Add the curry leaves and dry red chilies after they begin to sizzle.
  • Green chilis and diced onion should be added. Cook the onion until it becomes yellow. 
  • After adding, heat the ginger-garlic paste for 1 minute.
  • Cook the tomato until it is soft after adding the sliced tomato.
  • Chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder should be added. Mix well.
  • After adding, boil the grated coconut for a little while.
  • Add the fish and kappa. Mix well.
  • It should be heated to a boil after adding enough water to make the curry.
  • The Kappa and fish should be cooked after 10 to 15 minutes of cooking at a lower heat.
  • To taste, add salt to the dish.
  • Serve warm with boiled rice.
